10/15/01 - 10/17/01

We stayed 2 nights at B&W Resort on Mokulume River. Kitten and cat pictures are of a stray that lived there that we were feeding. Very friendly.

10/15/01
I caught 22 catfish and Tom Emerson got 8 in about 3 hours. No stripers today. Fishing in favorite spot just off of main SJ Channel near Frank's Tract. Most were about 1/2 - 1 lb.

10/16/01
Trolled most of the day for Salmon in Sacramento and then in Georgiana Slough. Saw some huge Salmon and think Tom might have had one, but our lines got tangled and he lost it. No other hits. Tried for some stripers in main SJ channel, but nothing at end of the evening.

10/17/01
Went for Stripers in favorite spot in middle of main SJ channel. Good luck. I got 10 good ones on cut anchovy. Most 1/4lb, some 1/2 - 1lb. Lost one really big one. No fish for Emerson, since he was using lures.

Boat running great, but still only running about 58 mph.
